Gloria Shepherd McVey of White City, Alabama, lost her battle with cancer on February 20, 2003. Born on October 24, 1935, Mrs. McVey was 67. She is survived by William E. McVey, Becky Newman, Brenda Holmes, and Eddie McVey. She was a graduate of Sidney Lanier High School in Montgomery, Alabama, Class of 1955.
