Sarah Sharpe Kyzar of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, peacefully passed away on May 23, 2024, at age 87 in Niceville, Florida. Sarah was born on December 25, 1936 in Montgomery, Alabama.
Sarah was a Christmas baby and was always a gift to her family and friends. She deeply loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them whenever possible. Sarah grew up and was married in Montgomery, Alabama, and had many fond memories of her years there.
Sarah was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James B. Kyzar, and her parents, Walter and Lurline Sharpe. Sarah is survived by her three children and their spouses, Becky Koehn, Scott Kyzar (Linda), and Bart Kyzar (Michelle); She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Brittany Koehn, Alex Koehn, Bo Kyzar, and Mack Kyzar.
A small graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Greenwood Cemetery in Montgomery, Alabama. Sarah loved animals, so in place of flowers, please donate to Alaqua Animal Refuge (https://alaqua.org/) in her honor.
