June Elisabeth Moore Biggio, age 89, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2026.
June was born on April 6, 1937, in LaFayette, AL. She was the child of Sarah Elisabeth McWhorter Moore and Gaines Robinson Moore. June graduated from Lanier High School and Auburn University. She went on to have a fulfilling career as a teacher, positively influencing the lives of many children and other friends throughout her life.
She is survived by her children, Laura Milligan Biggio, Lynne Biggio Herndon, and son-in-law Langdon McAllister Herndon Jr., and by her grandchildren, Haley Lynne Herndon, Langdon McAllister Herndon III, and Tanner Joseph DeBardelaben. Great-grandchildren Ryan Leo Cuoto and David Lang Cuoto.
