Shirley Ann McDuffie Dillard, 87, of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024.

She was born May 6, 1937, to the late John and Maude McDuffie and was the youngest of six children. She graduated from Sidney Lanier High School of Montgomery in 1955. She later met the love of her life, the late William W. Dillard, Jr., and married him in 1960.

Her two children survive her, Jan Dillard (Anna Bush) of Pensacola, Florida, and Gregory Dillard of Montgomery, Alabama. She is also survived by her niece, Shirley Marie Burton Beckmann of Tampa, Florida, and her two nephews Eddie Burton of Lakeland, Florida, and Larry McDuffie (Sherry) of Prattville, Alabama.

Graveside services will be held Friday, July 26, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Greenwood Cemetery, 909 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, Alabama 36109 with Mark Pate officiating.

There will be no viewing.
