Verna Patricia Moncrief, age 77, of Montgomery, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015. Mrs. Moncrief was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Francis A. Moncrief and her parents, Ralph and Verna Lee Moncrief.

She is survived by her sons: Doug (Wanda) Moncrief; Dave (Debbie) Moncrief; and Dale (Debbie) Moncrief; her brother: Jimmy Masingill (Harriett); her grandchildren: Doug, Jr. (Kelly); Donnie (Emily); Danny (Sarah); Dean (Erika); Ashleigh and David; her great-grandchildren: Dalton and Ava; many family members and friends.

Mrs. Moncrief was a long time member of Hope Hull United Methodist Church; Hope Hull United Methodist Women's Group and Snowdoun Women's Club.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at Leak Memory Chapel. A chapel service will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 11:00am at Leak Memory Chapel with burial following at Greenwood Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Charles Smith and Rev. Steve Spinning.
