Shep and I hunted quail together in high school. He had the fastest reflexes I have ever seen.
He usually knocked down three birds on the covey rise. He was and excellent short stop and
third base player in baseball. He played tripple A for Minneapolis and would have been an
outstanding player in the major league if he hadn't quit and joined IBM as a salesman in Florida.
