Elizabeth Lane Fischer, a lifelong resident of Montgomery, Alabama, died on June 2, 2016. She was predeceased by her son, Jason Chase Fischer.

Ms Fischer is survived by her sister, Fairlie Lane Haynes; her niece, Fairlie Haynes Rinehart and her husband Bruce; nephew Oliver Lynn Haynes III and his wife Ginny; nephew, William Sidney Haynes and his wife Lynn; a loving circle of cousins; her childhood friend, Gerry Gayle Hails and her beloved prayer group, the Charlotte Ministry.

A memorial service was held on June 4, 2016 in the columbarium of St. John's Episcopal Church with the Reverend Robert Wisnewski officiating.
