Jack Warren Vines, Sr. of Trussville, Alabama went to be with his Lord on, September 18, 2018, at the age of 84. He was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama and graduated from Sidney Lanier High School with the Class of 1952.

He and his wife, Dot, were in the ministry for several years with Bible Memory Association in St. Louis and Norwood Baptist Church in Birmingham. He loved working with young people and coaching sports that his boys were involved in. His career path included 19 years with SONAT in Birmingham. He was a longtime member and Deacon at Huffman Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 64 years, Dorothy Reese Vines, two sons, Jay Vines (Toni), Rick Vines (Anne); five grandchildren, Kadee Vines Patterson (Brett), Erin Vines Ryser (Joe), Reese Vines (Emily), Sarah Vines, Claire Vines, and two great-grandchildren, Jack Ryser and Emilia Ryser.

A celebration of Jack's life will be held Sunday, September 23rd at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville, Alabama at 2:00 with visitation beginning at 1:00.
