Obituary

Tudor, William Franklin, 81, of Montgomery, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 after a lengthy illness. He leaves to cherish his memories his children Carol Edge (Billy Ray), William Scott Tudor, and Susan Crowther (Jeff). He was predeceased by his wife, Geneva Tudor, and sister, Eleanor Cleghorn. A memorial service will be held at Masonic Lodge No. 11 (1273 Federal Drive) at 9:30 a.m. on July 20, 2013. "Billy Tudor" played second trumpet and was a quartermaster for the Alcazar Shrine Band. He retired from the Montgomery Fire Department in 1981 after a decorated career. He was a member of the following Baptist churches: Chisholm, Forest Park and McGehee Road. He attended Tennessee Temple College in Chattanooga where he studied music. He had an infectious smile, a strong sense of duty, and reached out to help many in need. The family wishes to thank Baptist Hospice and Answered Prayer for providing comfort, care and prayer to our father during his final weeks. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Red Cross.
