Owen C. Miller, 70, a resident of Montgomery, died Friday, November 22, 2002, in a local hospital after an illness.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Joyce C. Miller; daughter, Linda Miller; son and daughter-in-law, Clifford and Julie H. Miller, Ft. Payne, AL; two sisters, Margaret M. Allen, Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Janelle M. Johnson, Ft. Worth, TX, and a grandson, Daniel Owen Miller, Ft. Payne, AL.

He was a member of The Montgomery Community Band and a Charter Member of Montgomery Recreators.

Services will be held Monday, November 25, 2002, in the Chapel of Brooks-Cargile Funeral Home at 1:00 P.M. with Dr. John Ed Mathison and Rev. Earl Andrews officiating—burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:30 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Brooks-Cargile Funeral Home before the service.

Pallbearers will be Harold Hartline, Ed Keller, Bob Siemens, Kent McKee, Tom Searcy, Paul Sims, and Fred Gouge. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Frazer Memorial United Methodist Church Orchestra.
