Jerrell Edward Campbell, age 93, passed away on April 11, 2026, surrounded by family. He was born on February 21, 1933, in Alabama and was a longtime resident of Wetumpka, Alabama.
A man of steady faith and quiet devotion, Jerrell's life was marked by constancy—showing up, welcoming others, and offering a presence that reassures and uplifts. As a longtime Greeter at Eastern Hills Baptist Church, he became a familiar and valued part of the church family, extending warmth and respect to all who entered. He also enjoyed fellowship and friendly competition as a member of the Eat and Bowl League at Bama Lanes.
Jerrell was preceded in death by Blossom Brooks Campbell (Wife), Jerrell L Campbell, and Pauline L Campbell. (Parents)and three grandchildren.
He is survived by Edward E. (Fran) Campbell, Stephen L. (Suzanne) Campbell, and Patricia C (Frank) Spurlock; step-children, Darrell (Suzanne) Brooks, Hilton (Renee) Brooks, and Yvonne (Earl) Venable; 10 Grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and Brother: Earl Campbell.
A Celebration of Life Church Service will be held at Eastern Hills Baptist Church, 3064 Pleasant Ridge Rd, Montgomery, AL 36109, on April 18, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. Officiating will be Pastor Rick Marshall and Pastor Jeremey Smally.
