Edward Elisha Bolling (1933-2015) - Class Of 1951

Edward Elisha Bolling, 82, a resident of Prattville, AL went to be with his Savior on Friday, March 20, 2015.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. from First Baptist Church in Prattville with Dr. Travis Coleman and Reverend Dave Burns officiating. Burial will follow at Oakhill Cemetery, with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing.

Mr. Bolling proudly served his country during the Korean War with the United States Navy.  He loved the Lord, his family, and friends with all of his heart.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. 

Mr. Bolling was preceded in death by his parents, Zema and Essie Bolling; one brother, Robert Bolling; and one sister, Mildred Matthews.  He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Anna Joyce Bolling; one daughter, Angelia (Brian) Bolling Spraberry; two grandchildren, Christopher Brian and Corey Taylor Spraberry; three brothers, James (Alyce) Bolling, Ernest Alvin (Jean) Bolling, and Jerry (Delores) Bolling; two sisters, Mary Jane Holley and Sara (Charles) Willis; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and many friends.

The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the First Baptist Church Mission Fund c/o Edward Bolling, 138 S. Washington St., Prattville, AL 36067.
