FRANKLIN, Gladys E., a lifelong resident of Montgomery, passed away Sunday January 9, 2011 after a brief illness. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. in Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Glen Pugh Officiating and Leak- Memory Chapel directing. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents Charles G. Franklin Sr. and Sommer H. Franklin, four brothers; Charlie, Ed, Clarence and Gene Franklin, 2 sisters; Nell Crawley and Elizabeth Guettler. She is survived by one sister; Ruth Avinger, two nieces; Sandra Avinger and Glenda Jones (Ronnie), three nephews; Charles Avinger, Larry Guettler (Vera) and Dr. Dennis Franklin.
