Margaret Ann Durden (Liles) (1933-2013) - Class Of 1950
Liles, Margaret Ann, 80, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2013. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Montgomery Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Liles was a 1950 graduate of Sidney Lanier High School and retired from Winn Dixie after 40 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Lela Durden; sisters, Doris Smith and Shirley Payne; and daughter, Linda Kay Liles. Mrs. Liles is survived by her daughter, Patricia Liles Holmes (William); grandchildren, Jamie Lamar Tyus (Mary Beth), Joshua Caleb Holmes (Shannon); great grandchildren, Savannah Paige Tyus, Hunter Chase Tyus; step grandchildren, Melissa Holmes Leslie (John), William Boyd Holmes (Lisa); step great grandchildren, Camdin Holmes, Madison Leslie, Lauryn Leslie, Raegan Leslie, and Andruw Woods. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Baptist South Hospital for the care and compassion they gave to Mrs. Liles. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Margaret Ann Liles.
