Virginia Louise Cummings Reynolds, 82, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2015, after an extended illness. Mrs. Reynolds was preceded in death by her husband, Eric Reynolds, to whom she was married for 62 years. Also preceding in her death were her two sons, Alan Reynolds and Gary Reynolds.

She leaves to cherish her memories two loving and devoted daughters, Linda Reynolds, Montgomery, AL, and Debbie Slauson of Charlotte, NC. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Reynolds retired from the State of Alabama with over 30 years of service. She was last employed by the Alabama Department of Economics and Community Affairs.

Virginia found pleasure working in the flower gardens in her yard, as well as refinishing old furniture as long as her health allowed her to pursue her hobbies.

Visitation will be at Leak Memory Chapel on Friday, January 9, 2015 from 12:30 - 1:30. A graveside service will be held following at 2:00pm at Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Martel Pace will be officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.
