Peggy Ann Clark (Poage) (1932-2012) - Class Of 1950

Peggy Clark Poage, a loving mother, sister, friend, and long-time resident of Montgomery, died suddenly Monday evening, December 31st, in Marietta, Georgia. Peggy was born on February 29, 1932.

She is survived by two sons, Tim (Janice) Poage and Bobby (Tammy) Poage; one daughter, Dawn (Jeff) Whittington; two brothers, Bobby (Dot) Clark and Wayne (Dee) Clark; nine grandchildren, (Joshua Iles, Daniel Poage, Chelsea Domingue, Jordan Whittington, Bailey Poage, Caroline Whittington, Jesse Poage, Brady Poage, and Anna Whittington) as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Peggy is preceded in death by her eldest son Billy Poage and her parents Lanoyd Clark and Jeanette Clark.

Visitation will be held at Leak-Memory Chapel on Friday, January 4th from 5 - 7 p.m. A graveside service, officiated Rev. Gary Burton, will be held on Saturday, January 5th at 11 a.m. at the Montgomery Memorial Cemetery on Simmons Street in Montgomery.

Pallbearers will be David Clark, Brady Poage, Daniel Poage, Jesse Poage, Jordan Whittington, and Kenny Wicks.
