William Arthur Hines of Prattville, Alabama passed away on January 11, 2019, at the age of 88. He was a graduate of Lanier High School and went on to obtain his Bachelor’s Degree from Troy University Montgomery.

Mr. Hines loved Auburn football, Nascar, and was an avid fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Annette Poitevint; and an infant daughter, Cynthia Faye.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Hines; three daughters, Sue Beard (Rod), Lisa MacMillan, and Bilinda Hines Stokes (David); three granddaughters, Amy Sherrill, Suzanne Robinson, and Haley Hines; two grandsons, William Stokes and Joshua Stokes; and two great-granddaughters, Kaitlyn Robinson and Jordyn Robinson.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Leak Memory Chapel, with a Graveside Service to follow at 2:00 pm in Greenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers to include Leo Gilliland, David Gilliland, Henry Gilliland, Josh Beeson, Bailey Taylor, Nolan Taylor, and Michael Faulk.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the Doctors, Nurses, Staff, and Volunteers at Montgomery Cancer Center.
