YOUNG, Fred Sam, 80, a resi­dent of Montgomery, AL, passed away on Sunday Feb­ruary 1, 2009.  A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at 2:30 P.M. with Rev. Rhon Carleton officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Ceme­tery. Visitation will be on Tues­day, February 3, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Leak-Memory Chapel and also one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Sam enjoyed a very active and full life after retirement until his illness. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Marybelle "Boots" Young; two daughters, Mary Hataway (Glenn), Anne Pippin (Wayne); five grandchildren, Michael Hataway (Lara), Denise Ball (Jeff), Debbie For­bus (David), Fred Pippin (Lisa), Mark Pippin; and eight grandchildren, Jason Hata­way, Charlie and Evan Ball, Molly Forbus, Ashley and Kris­tyn Pippin, Amber and Betha­ny Pippin. Pallbearers will be Fred Pippin, Mark Pippin, Mi­chael Hataway, Jeff Ball, Da­vid Forbus, and Eddie Young.  Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Foshee, James Ivey, and T.J. Manis. Flowers will be accepted, or memorial con­tributions may be made to Frazer Memorial United Meth­odist Church.Leak-Memory Chapel Directing
