June Marie McLain Carlisle of Vestavia, Alabama, passed away at the age of 88 on January 20, 2019. June was born in Montgomery, Alabama, where she attended Lanier High School and afterwards, married the love of her life for 58 years, Robert Gene Carlisle.

June was a successful real estate agent for over 35 years in the Birmingham area, where she received many awards for outstanding productivity. She was very active in her church choir and other civic organizations.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Gene Carlisle, her parents, Daniel and Wrennie McLain, and 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

She is survived by daughters, Kay Stalnaker (Ken), Alicia Trawick (Steve); sons, Bob Carlisle (Gay), Steve Carlisle (Kim), and Keith Carlisle, as well as nine grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. June is also survived by her sister Jewel Weldon, along with many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Friday, Jan. 25, 2019, at the Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church with visitation at 11 AM in the parlor, followed by the service at 12 Noon in the Chapel. In place of flowers, donations may be made to Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church.
