Jane Heustess Prestwood, a lifelong resident of Montgomery, died on December 6, 2013, in Franklin, Tennessee. Jane graduated from Sidney Lanier High School and the University of Alabama. She played piano at Morningview Baptist Church and the Montgomery Little Theatre for many years.

Jane was predeceased by her parents, Ulysses Long Heustess and Juanita Cox Heustess; and her brother, Dan Cox Heustess. She is survived by her children, Ann Prestwood (Craig) Campbell of Birmingham and Alison Bennett Prestwood of Franklin, Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Alison Kelso Waller, Ann Bennett Waller and William Chambers Waller IV all of Birmingham.
