SIMPSON, Philip Meehan, 83, died January 12, 2011. Pursuant to his instructions and personal arrangements, disposition of remains is by cremation without rites. Mr. Simpson is survived by his children Hugh Simpson, and wife Heather, of Ocoee, FL. Heidi Simpson, and partner Helen, of Dallas, TX. Helen Boyce of Bedford, TX, Heather Aucoin of Covington, LA and Howard Simpson of Montgomery, AL. Philip Simpson is also survived by eight grandchildren and twenty four nephews and nieces. To all survivors: peace, love, and farewell. Philip was a graduate of King's Point Merchant Marine Academy and retired as a Naval officer. A plaque will be placed in Memorial Arbors at the Academy.
