Marion C. Breyer (April 21, 1929 - November 10, 2011). It is with great sadness that we announce that Marion Breyer, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on November 10, 2011. Born on April 21, 1929 in Montgomery, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Mortimer A. Cohen and Josephine B. Cohen. She is survived by her children, Jane B. Friedman (Samuel) and John F. Breyer, Jr. (Elizabeth); four grandchildren, Mary Alexandra Friedman, Jonathan B. Friedman, Julia F. Breyer and Jackson S. Breyer; and her sister, Helen C. Badt. She was preceded in death by John F. Breyer, her husband of 46 years. Memorial service to be held at Temple Emanu-El, Birmingham, Alabama on Friday, November 11, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Interment at 1:00 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery, Montgomery, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Alabama in Birmingham (UAB).
