Betty Alton Brown Brazzell Wright, 83, passed away Sunday, March 24th, 2013 at Life Care Center of Crossville, Cumberland County, Tennessee. Betty was born in Montgomery, Alabama, on June 26, 1929, the daughter of the late Julius and Eva Chesnutt Brown.

She married Oscar Phillip Brazzell, of Woodbury, Tennessee, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children: son, Phillip V. Brazzell, and wife Patricia Weeks Brazzell, of Boaz, Ky; 3 daughters, Nancy Brazzell Rogers and husband James E. Rogers of Cookeville,TN, Elizabeth Brazzell Scroggin and husband Joseph L. Scroggin of Abingdon, VA, and Mary Helen Brazzell Graves and husband Gary L. Graves of Knoxville, TN; 9 Grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

She married Clint Wright, of Montgomery, Alabama, who also preceded her in death.

She is also survived by Step children: Barbara Wright Raines and husband Frazier Raines, of Montgomery, AL, and Sandra Wright DeBary and husband Stan DeBary, also of Montgomery, AL; 6 step-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded by a great-granddaughter, Lyndsey Davidson.

Visitation with the family will be Monday, March 25, 2013 from 7PM-9PM at Crest Lawn Funeral Home, Cookeville, Tn.

Visitation will also be Tuesday, March 26, 2013 from 12 PM until time of services at Leoni Church of Christ, 6818 McMinnville Hwy., Woodbury, TN., where services will take place at 1:00 PM. Interment at Leoni Cemetery Woodbury, TN.
