Charles C. Kreamer (1928-2013) - Class Of 1946
Charles Kreamer, 85 years old, died peacefully February 13, 2013 following an extended illness. He was born in Mobile, AL on February 13, 1928, the son of Charlie and Thelma Kreamer. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Betty Sanford Kreamer; son, Kirk Sanford Kreamer (Melissa) and daughter, Karen Kreamer-Davis (Kenneth) and three grandchildren: Brandi Etheredge (Shane), Kaleb Kreamer, and Britni Griner (Keith); three great-grandchildren: Sasha, Marina and Finn Etheredge; two sisters: Alice Morse and Nell Muegge (Clifford) as well as several nieces and nephews. Mr. Kreamer was a man of deep faith and conviction whose life was centered around his family and church… He was "Daddy", "Pawpaw", and a constant source of strength and humor for his family. One of his deepest regrets during his lengthy illness was being unable to attend Bible study and worship services each Sunday. Visitation will be Friday, February 15, 2013 from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at Leak Memory Chapel. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Leak Memory Chapel with Dr. Jay Wolf and Dr. Dale Huff officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
