Jesse Lee Cook (1926-2006) - Class Of 1946

COOK, Jesse Lee, 80, a resident of Montgomery, died Monday, October 2, 2006. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 5, 2006 at 1:00 PM at Leak-Memory Chapel with Dr. John Ed Mathison and Reverend Susie Beeson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Cook was a WWII veteran having served in the US Navy. He was a member Frazer UMC and former owner of Carburetor Electric Company. He is preceded in death by his granddaughter Shelby Madison Weverink. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Margaret Madison Cook, children Stanley F. Cook and wife Candy, Mark A. Cook and wife Cathy, Lee M. Cook and wife Karen and Julie Cook Weverink and husband Dennis, grandchildren Jessica, Kyle and Kay-la Cook, Cole Cook, Wesley and Marisa Cook and Sidney Ann Weverink, step grandchildren Shannon and Allison Weverink, sister in laws Dorothy Marshall and husband Joe, Mary Corbman and husband Al and Mabel G. Madison and many loving nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Wesley, Kyle and Cole Cook, Jim Bain, Jr, Larry Bain and Bob Marshall. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at Leak-Memory Chapel from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
