Frances Fitzgerald, 90, a resident of Montgomery, died Thursday the 31st of August at Jackson Hospital surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Baldwin Fitzgerald and her brother, John A. Register.

Born in 1927, Frances was a life-long member of First Baptist Church and enjoyed a large community of friends. She was a sought-after bridge player, a lover of cats and the performing arts, and a dedicated Auburn football fan.

She is survived by her two daughters, Susan Fitzgerald and Kathy Gibian; son-in-law Richard Gibian; grandchildren, Kate Rowan, and Emily, Olivia, and James Gibian.

A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church on Saturday, September 2 at 3:00 p.m.
