COCHRAN, Shelbie Barkley, a resident of Hope Hull, went to be with the Lord on Mon­day, May 4, 2009 with her family and a host of Angels by her side. She was pre­ceded in death by her hus­band, James R. Cochran and a grandson, Zachary Lazen­by. Survivors include her chil­dren, Terri Rodriguez (Luis), Jerry Lynn Lazenby (Gene),Toni Southers (Larry), and Bob Cochran (Wanda); brothers, Jimmy Barkley (Dixie) and Tony Barkley (Catherine); grandchildren, Jodi, Russell (Mona), James, Tony, Danny, Lacey, Leah (Will Sledge), Eliz­abeth, Erin and Will; great-grandchildren, Louie, Victo­ria, Austin, Cheyenne, Rachel, Cody, Anthony, and Dani­lynn. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 7, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Leak-Memory Chapel. Graveside services will be on Friday, May 8, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the original Burkville Memori­al United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Paul Turn­er officiating. Shelbie's family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support as well as Baptist Hospice for all their loving care.
