SIMS, Jean Carlton, 83, passed away on Sunday,September 6, 2009. Mrs. Sims was preceded in death by her husband Fred W. Sims.  She is survived by a son, Winkl­er (Dianne) Sims; a daughter, Kathy (Gene) Murphree; and a sister, Juddie (Bob) Scheer.  She is also survived by four grandchildren:  Zachary Sims, Casey Sims, Abby Murphree, and Martha Murphree.  Special thanks to caregivers Annette Peavey and Annie Jones. A graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery on Thursday, Sep­tember 10, 2009 at 10:30.  Friends may gather at the gravesite 30 minutes prior to the service to visit.
