Elizabeth Wilkinson Rast, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, died March 26, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband, Holt Rast, her parents, Martha Turk Wilkinson and Ernest Albert Wilkinson, and her sons, Daniel Clay Wilson, and Mark Howard Wilson.
Mrs. Rast is survived by her son, John Wilkinson Wilson (Tina Pharr), daughters-in-law, Nancy Kelley Wilson Parks and Elizabeth Wiley Wilson.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Daniel Clay Wilson (Meg), Ellen Wilson Rogers (William), Mark Howard Wilson (Terri), Mary Elizabeth Wilson, Mary Katherine Wilson (Chad), and Ann Wilson Aman (Doug), and nine great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by Sally Rast Vinson, Holt Rast, Bobby John Rast, James Michael Rast, Marion Rast Humphries, Susie Rast Haynes, and Daniel Blake Rast.
Mrs. Rast was a graduate of Sidney Lanier High School, Huntingdon College, and the Jones School of Law. She served as Assistant Clerk to the Alabama House of Representatives. She was a member of the National Society Magna Charta Dames, the Americans of Royal Descent, the Most Noble Order of the Garter, the Colonial Order of the Crown, and the First Families of Alabama.
Mrs. Rast was the designer and owner of Belles and Beaus Patterns and Mulberry Market Antiques.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 1:30PM at Saint John's Episcopal Church in the parish hall. A funeral service will follow in the church at 2:30PM. Committal will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be John Wilkinson Wilson, Daniel Clay Wilson, Mark Howard Wilson, William Thomas Rogers, Charles Dean Wilson, and Douglas Keith Aman, Jr.
