Crane, Virginia Waits, 86, a resident of Montgomery, AL went quietly home to be with her Lord on Easter morning, April 8, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Leak Memory Chapel with John Ed Mathison officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Charlotte Virginia Bayzer Waits and William Kenyon Waits. She is survived by four daughters, Jeanie (Alan) Adams of Columbus, Ga., Anne Kelliher of Montgomery, AL., Betsy (Clifford) Hornady of Verbena, AL., and Vicki (Cantrell) Allen of Bucyrus, Ohio; one brother, William Kenyon Waits, 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Virginia retired from the state of Alabama as a statistician in 1989.
