Howard Lee "Buck" Sewell, 90, a resident of Montgomery, AL passed away Saturday, November 23, 2013 after an extended illness. Survivors include his wife, Connie N. Sewell; two nieces & nephews, Janet & Mike McCord of Wetumpka and Connie & Butch Golson of Murfreesboro, TN; brother-in-law, Bill Sprecker; and five great nieces & nephews. The family wishes to extend much appreciation to Alacare Hospice and workers, Ms. Kerri and Pam; and Chaplain Bill Tucker for all the wonderful care during our time of need. A special thanks and love to Ms. Irene Smith who was our caregiver but has become so much more. We couldn't have gotten through this time without her. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from Leak-Memory Chapel with Chaplain Bill Tucker and Dr. Dale Huff officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike McCord, Butch Golson, Buster Broadway, Bill Morgan, Don Weathers and John Henderson.
