MARXER, Marian Hays, 81, passed away Wednesday September 7, 2005. She was the Personnel Manager for Loveman's Dept. Store in Normandale from 1953-1973, a long term member of Evangel Temple and did volunteer work at Sav-A-Life of Montgomery for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur W. Marxer. Survivors include daughter Theresa Lavender Thorsberg (Arthur) of Macon, GA; son, Arthur Edward Marxer (Rise) of Birmingham, AL; grandchildren, Mike Lavender of Macon, GA, Alison Marxer Gerst (John) of St. Louis, MO and Jordan Marxer of Birmingham, AL. Funeral services will be Saturday Sept. 10th at 10am also at Southern Memorial with Pastor Michael Rippy officiating. Burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Sav-A-Life Foundation of Montgomery, Evangel Temple of Montgomery or Chavarah Shalom of Montgomery. Southern Memorial Directing
