Grover Cleveland Murchison, Jr., M.D., age 75, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, died on Friday, December 11, 1998.  Dr. Murchison was in Family Practice from 1952 through 1991.  Funeral services will be held at St. John's Episcopal Church on Monday, December 14, 1998 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Robert Wisnewski, Jr. officiating.  Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.  He was preceded in death by one daughter, Hettie Hopkins Murchison, M.D.  Survivors include his wife, Hettie Hopkins Murchison of Montgomery, AL; three daughters: Cary M. Phillips, D.V.M., of Montgomery, AL, Mary E. Murchison, Esq.m of Lillian, AL, and Agnes M. Cartner, M.D., of Birmingham, AL; one son: Commander Grover R. Murchison, U.S. Navy, Retired; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. John's Episcopal Church, for the Gallagher Fund.
