Claudia Virginia McGee (Scott) (1933-2009) - Class Of 1951

SCOTT, Claudia Virginia “Aunt Dish” McGee, a resi­dent of Millbrook, AL, died peacefully on Thursday, Feb­ruary 12, 2009, at the age of 75. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February16, 2009, at 10:30 a.m., from St. Michael and All Angels’ Episcopal Church, with Reve­rend Mark Waldo officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Springs Cemetery, with Pratt­ville Memorial Chapel direct­ing. Mrs. Scott was a member of St. Michael and All Angels’ Episcopal Church as well as several community organiza­tions, including, the Francis Marion Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution; the Eastern Star,and the Red Hat Society. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jo­seph Anderson Scott, II, and two brothers, Jason R. McGee, Jr. and Allen M.McGee.  She is survived by her niece, Sherree (David) Brush; four sisters-in-law, Georgia Smith, Kathryn Byers, Susan (Ed) Carrol, and Millicent S. McGee; one brother-in-law, Mark (Marie) Scott, and a host of other nieces, neph­ews, and family members. Pallbearers will be Steve Worth, Chase Stafford, Mat­thew Peoples, Pat Banks, Eric Smith, and Jeremy Peoples.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Michael and All Angels’ Episcopal Church, 5941 Main Street, Millbrook, AL 36054.
