STEINDORFF, Mrs. Claire Bost, age 87, of Montgomery, AL passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2010 at Hillview Terrace. A private graveside service will be held Sunday, December 5, 2010 at 2:00 PM in Greenwood Cemetery. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM in the First Baptist Church of Montgomery with Dr. Jay Wolf officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the memorial service. Mrs. Steindorff was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a 3rd Generation Member of the First Baptist Church of Montgomery where she taught the Morrow Sunday School Class for 30 years. She was also a member of the Empress Garden Club, Joy Singers and active in W.M.U. Mrs. Steindorff loved the Lord first, loved to travel, flowers and music. She enjoyed spending leisure time with her family and friends at her lake cabin on Lake Jordan. Mrs. Steindorff was preceded in death by her parents, William and Nannie Bost and one sister, Terry Bost Land. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Henry Steindorff; one daughter and son-in-law, Susan S. McPherson (Bill); two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert H. Steindorff (Marion) and James H.
