MELNICK, Suzanna S., age 82, died in Phoenix, AZ, on September 3, 2006, from emphysema. Born September 21, 1923, in Montgomery, AL to Solomon and Ida Rousso, she graduated Sidney Lanier High School and worked at Maxwell Air Force Base as a secretary. Upon her marriage to Samuel B. Melnick in 1942, she became a homemaker in Billings, MT. After her divorce in 1979, she retired to Phoenix, AZ. Suzanna is preceded in death by her son, Captain Steven B. Melnick, USAF. She is survived by her brother Victor Rousso, Atlanta, GA; daughters Dr. Sandra Melnick, Arlington, VA, Dr. Sharon Melnick Chinook, Klamath Falls, OR, and Saralee Melnick, Sherman Oaks, CA; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Agudath Israel Synagogue, Montgomery, AL at a later date.
