Bernerd R. Beaird , 92, a resident of Montgomery, died March 26, 2013. He was preceded in death by his daughter Beverly Williamson.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 29, 2013, at Leak Memory Chapel with Dr. Shawn Merithew officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 10:00 am and the funeral will be at 11:00 am.

He was a deacon and a charter member of Morningview Baptist. He operated Beaird Realty Company for fifty years. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict

Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Merle Stuart Beaird, sister Mildred Freese, daughter Pam Hill (Richard), grandchildren Tyler Hill, Trent Hill (Tish), Patrick Williamson (Stephanie), Kit Williamson Gibson (Lucas) and seven great grandchildren.
