Lillian Jones (Skinner) (1919-2010) - Class Of 1938

SKINNER, Lillian J, 90, a resident of Montgomery died peacefully at home after a lingering illness on March 5, 2010.  She was Preceded in death by her mother and father, Charlotte and Dudley Jones, and her husband of 64 years, William Hobson Skinner, Jr.. She is survived by three children, Betsy Henle, (Phil) of Birmingham, Susan Goodloe of Montgomery, William Hobson Skinner III (Karen) of Montgomery; two grandchildren, C.W. Skinner and Bobby Skinner of Montgomery. Mrs. Skinner was a homemaker. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church, Montgomery; a member of the MontgomeryJ unior League; a charter member of the Montgomery Daffodil Garden Club, Her life was one of pride, poise, and purpose. Visitation will beheld at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home Monday March 8, 2010, from 1 until 2p.m. with funeral services following at 2:00 p.m. in the White Chapel Funeral, Jeff Mayton, a lay minister, deacon of the First Baptist Church, Montgomery.
