BROUSSARD, Juanita died in Huntsville, AL on Saturday, February 6, 2010. She was born in Gadsden, AL on Dec. 6, 1919 and lived the majority of her life in Montgomery. She was a member of Cloverdale Baptist Church. Her lifelong interest in art led her to volunteer at the Montgomery Museum of Art, where she was recognized as Volunteer of the Year. To help the World War II effort, she worked as a purchasing agent for the Federal Government. Juanita Broussard was preceded in death by her husband, W.L. Broussard, and her sister, Daphne Etheridge. Immediate surviving family members are George Brown, her brother, and Jo Broussard, her daughter. On Friday, February 12th, a Funeral Service will be held at11:00 a.m. at Southern Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. John Tetter officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Burial will immediately follow the service in Montgomery Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to The Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity or The Montgomery Museum of Art.
