Mrs. Mary Smith Dickens, of 5504 Old Selma Road and a lifelong resident of Montgomery, died Saturday at 4 a.m. in a local hospital after a brief illness.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday at 3 p.m. in Greenwood Cemetery, with the Reverend Charles H. Dunahoo and the Reverend Curtis Smith officiating. White Chapel directing.

Survivors include her husband, Clifford A Dickens, Montgomery; mother, Mrs. Helen R Smith, Montgomery; three sons, Clifford A. Dickens III, Phillip W. Dickens, and James F. Dickens, all of Montgomery; two brothers, Samuel Smith, Jackson, MS and James T. Smith, Long Beach, CA.; two sisters, Mrs. Alice McLaney, Pine Mountain, Ga.; and Mrs. Helen S. Waring, Memphis, TN.
