Georgia Lee Gunter (Harrelson Teague) (1918-2014) - Class Of 1936

Georgia Lee Gunter Harrelson Teague, passed away on Friday May 9, 2014, at the age of 96.

She was predeceased by her parents, Lester and Myrtle Gunter, her brothers, Col. Edwin Gunter and Lomax Gunter, her sister, Margaret Chapman, her first husband, Jack Harrelson, and her second husband Philip Teague. 

She is survived by her daughters, Glenda Hancock (Ronald), Virginia Jordan (John), her grandchildren, Dee Dee Hornsby, Jeannie Hancock, Scott Hancock, Jennifer Jordan, John Jordan, Jr., brother, Robert Gunter, great-grandchildren, Cody Hancock, Will Hancock, Meredith Hancock, Julia Hancock, Lilah Hancock, Zac Hornsby, Leigh Hornsby, Mary-Virginia Nelms, Corbet Nelms, and a number of special nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by step-children, Dorris Teague and Bernie Teague (Lana).

She had a long career at Teague Hardware Co. After retiring, she enjoyed china painting until her eyesight failed. 

Her Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at 12 Noon, at Leak Memory Chapel, followed by her Graveside Service at 1 PM at Oakwood Annex.
