Sis graduated from Sidney Lanier High School in Montgomery, AL, in 1934. She was the daughter of Claude L. Ray and Elizabeth Durr Fitzpatrick Ray, and the sister of Eugene Driver Ray (Lanier Class of 1930), Alva Fitzpatrick Ray (Lanier Class of 1933), Claudia Ray (Timberlake) (Lanier Class of 1938), and Clara Frances Ray (Boyle) (Lanier Class of 1946).
Sis married John "Jack" S. Spottswood, and they lived in Mobile, AL.
Sis and Charles had two children:
John S. Spottswood, Jr.
Claudia Spottswood
Sis passed away in 1995.
