SHEPHERD, Mrs. Laura Belle Vaughn David, age 95, of Montgomery died peacefully on August 8, 2010. The family will receive friends at Leak- Memory Chapel Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 10 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 11 at 11:00 AM at Leak-Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Sublette officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Shepherd was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary E. Vaughn, husband; Jim Shepherd, husband; James H. David, daughter; Nancy Ann, son; William David, brother and sister-in-law; William and Kathleen Vaughn. She is survived by, two sons; James David (Linda), John David (Debbie), seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to Mae and John Manning, Richard and Katherine Higginbotham, Martha John and Bill Allison and the wonderful staff at Wesley Gardens, who made her last years so wonderful.
