Isaac E. Cohen, LTC, Usaf (1915-2013) - Class Of 1932

Isaac Cohen, age 98, resident of Montgomery passed away January 31st. 2013.

He leaves behind:

  • A loving wife of 67 years, Felice
  • Two children:
    • Alise (Joe) Erdberg
    • Elliot (Mae) Cohen
  • Grandchildren:
    • Mark (Jaime) Erdberg
    • Jill (Paul) Rothstein
  • Two great- grandchildren
    • Anna Erdberg
    • Kacy Rothstein
  • He is also survived by his sisters:
    • Jeanette Rousso
    • Pauline Witt
  • And brother
    • Raymond Cohen

Mr. Cohen served in World War II and retired as a Colonel with the US Air Force. He graduated from the University of Alabama Law School and practiced law. He later went into business with his father at Cohen Amusement Company eventually becoming manager of ARA Vending Company.

The family's gratitude is extended to dedicated caregivers Lillie Tillmon and Roy Franks.

Graveside services will be conducted by Rabbi Elliot Stephens at 11 am on Sunday, February 3rd at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to:
