May Ridolphi Collins., born Aug. 30, 1915 passed away on Dec. 5, 2011. May is preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. Collins, her parents Fred and Lettie Ridolphi and her eight brothers. May was a lifelong resident of Montgomery, and some of her fondest memories were of her father's restaurant, "The Pickwick Café" and growing up with a house full of brothers and friends. Mother will be greatly missed by her two sons, Charles and Freddie, their wives, Cynthia and Susie, her grandchildren, Laura, Aimee, Kimberly and Jackie and their spouses and of course her great granddaughter, Emma and her sisters-in-law, Myrtle Ridolphi and Dorothy Ridolphi. She was affectionately known to them as May- May. Mrs. May was known to all for her caring and loving ways. She was a true lady of the South and was loved and respected by all who knew her. Family will receive friends beginning at 11 AM, Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011 with a funeral service at 1 PM at Leak Memorial Chapel, 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109.
