Carol Virginia Brown, of the White City Community, passed away on January 6, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Montgomery, AL on December 20, 1941; the daughter of the late Hubert Grady Reed, Sr. and the late Eloise Dormen Reed.

She was a former factory worker with Precision Plastics.

She is survived by: Husband, Galen J. Brown of White City; Daughter, Pamela Kucher of Atlanta, GA; Son, Ronald Scott (Hyacinth) Brown of Montgomery; Grandchildren, Ian Brown and Brian Kucher; Sister, Patricia Wiggs of Montgomery; Brother , Hubert Reed, Jr. of Tennessee; and Brother, Charles Reed of Montgomery.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 9, 2015 at 11:00am from White Pond Baptist Church with Rev. Donnie Burns officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the White City Cemetery in White City, AL.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the White Pond Baptist Church.
