Mr. Curtis J. Powell, a resident of 362 Azalea Drive, [Montgomery, Alabama], died Wednesday, January 12, 1994, [at Baptist Medical Center South].
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 23, 1994, at 1:30 p.m. from the New Town Church of Christ with Brother Charlie Chapman officiating.
Interment will be in Long's Cemetery with Phillips-Riley Funeral Home directing.

I was Curtis' nurse when he died at Baptist Medical Center South. I was there when he took his last breath. I remember him being a good athlete at Lanier. I knew he had been in the Army but that's about all.
