Jimmy was one of my best friends. One year ahead of me at Lanier, we met when my family moved back to Montomery from Albany, GA. and started attending Cloverdale Church of Christ. We both worked at H.L. Greene grocery department after school and on weekends. He was working for my dad at Skelton's Lock and Key Service when my dad died unexpectedly at age 44 in 1962, Jimmy was there with me during the whole time...for as long as I needed him. HIs mother and dad were special people. I loved his family. Jimmy served in the US Army Reserve as I did. His brother served in the US Marine Corp and fought in Viet Nam. I will always have fond memories of Jimmy and I riding our motorcycles together and just hanging out. What a great friend!
