Leham Benjamin "Ben" Easterling, Jr., 75, passed away at his home on Sunday, September 17, 2017, surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jill Margaret Easterling; parents, Lehman Benjamin (Doc E) and Margaret Hopkins Easterling; brother Allen Metcalf Easterling.

Ben is survived by his wife of 31 years, Glenda Till Easterling; son, Ben Easterling, III, and his wife Catherine Easterling; his grandchildren Mary Margaret, Caroline, and Ben, IV, and his constant companion, Barney! 

Ben graduated from Sidney Lanier High School and Auburn University, where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. He worked in the Investment Business for over 40 years and was very involved in his community. He was devoted to his family, friends and Auburn Tigers! 

Honorary pallbearers will be Karl Benkwith, Lewis Gayden, Mike Jenkins, Jimmy Massey, George Mathews, Walter McKee, Mike Miller, Junie Pierce, and Charlie Savage.

Pallbearers will be his grandson, Ben Easterling, IV, nephew Ben Easterling, Jim Easterling, Jon Easterling, Bryan Balogh, Brook Balogh, Brent Balogh and Steven Tears.

The funeral will be Wednesday, September 20 at 11 AM at Leak Memory Chapel, with visitation at 10 AM.
