Mary Alice Henry Brown was reunited with her parents and sister on the evening of Wednesday, February 23, 2022. She passed peacefully into Eternity in the presence of her son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter. She completed her battle with cancer through God’s ultimate healing. She was preceded in death by her sister Rebecca 'Becky' Welch, mother Helon Rebecca Upshaw Henry, and father Jefferson Davis Henry.
Mary Alice is survived by her daughter, Jacki Frandi-Tucker, and her son, Edward Morgan; daughter-in-law, Leslie Morgan; grandchildren Kyle and Kevin Frandi; Hannah and Gabe Morgan; and a loving family of numerous friends.
Mary Alice was born on April 13, 1942, in Enterprise, Alabama. She was the first and beloved child of JD and Helon Henry. She grew up in Montgomery, Alabama where she attended Cloverdale Junior High School and graduated from Sidney Lanier High School. She wore many hats in her working career but the one most suited and well-worn was that of MOM.
She leaves behind a legacy of loving her family more than anything, being forgiving towards all, and welcoming anyone to her home and for fellowship.
We love you, Mom, and count it a high privilege we were allowed to be raised by you as our mother.
The family would like to express a special thank you for the wonderful help and care given by family member Hannah Morgan, the Montgomery Cancer Center, the Prattville Baptist Hospital team, and especially the Amedisys Hospice Care team. In place of flowers, we ask donations to be made to the Family Sunshine Center in Montgomery, Alabama.
